Roaring Point Waterfront Campground Rules

CAMPGROUND SECURITY: Non-emergencies contact store during normal business hours at (410) 873-2553. After hours security can be reached at (443) 669-7458. Please leave a message if you don't get an answer right away.

INSECT CONTROL: Spraying for mosquitoes is conducted by Wicomico County, Maryland and is done on the maximum number of days that the county allows when necessary. Any questions regarding spraying should be directed to Wicomico County Mosquito Control.
LOST & FOUND: Located at the store. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
MAXIMUM PEOPLE PER SITE: Eight (8). More than 8 people must be authorized by management. Management may require an additional site be rented.
NO SHOW: No shows will be cancelled the day after the scheduled arrival date, after 10 a.m., unless the guest has contacted reservations to hold the site.
PETS: All pets must be on a leash, wear current and valid rabies tags, cleaned up after, attended to at all times and not be vicious or exotic (No reptiles). Pets must be walked by responsible people that are able to maintain complete control of pet at all times. Pets should not be on tie outs longer than ten feet or allowed to roam beyond site limits. Due to health regulations, pets are not allowed in bathhouse or store. Any aggressive animal will not be allowed to stay at campground.
PICNIC TABLES & FIRE-RINGS: One picnic table and one fire ring per site. Please do not move picnic tables or fire rings from your campsite to other campsites. Please inform the camp store if you need a picnic table or fire-ring.
QUIET TIME: 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please no loud talking, loud radios, loud televisions or other noise between these hours. People under 18 must be accompanied by an adult after 11pm. Do not cut walk through other's campsites.
SCREEN ROOMS: Screen rooms are allowed but must be taken down on departure from park. For extended stays, you may be asked to take it down so that we can complete lawn maintenance during the weekdays.
SEWAGE: Dump stations are available at no charge. See map for location(s). Pump-outs available as scheduled for $15 each. No charge for seasonal or monthly tenants.
SEWER HOOKUPS: Sewer hoses must be undamaged and must not be inserted into the sewer more than 6 inches. Due to Maryland State Health Regulations, all sewer hookups must be airtight and watertight. Use only RV approved toilet paper. Do not put facial tissue, baby wipes, other wipes, paper, sanitary products, household cleaners or ethylene glycol based or other automotive anti-freeze in the holding tanks.
STORAGE: All vehicles, boats, trailers must be registered before parking in storage. For extended storage-a contract must be completed and vehicles, boats, trailers must have active license tags. It is $25.00 for outside of the fence and $35.00 for the inside area. Seasonal Tenants are allowed one assigned space for a boat and/or boat trailer at no additional charge for the length of lease.
TENTS: Only one tent per site is included in rate. A small two-man pup tent may also be set up on the same site for no charge. Tents (4 feet and over) will be charged $20/night along with any extra people charges if applicable. 2 large tents is the maximum amount allowed at one time on site depending on size as charges apply.
TOW ON/OFF: We can move your trailer onto site or remove from site for $15 each way. We are unable to tow 5th Wheels.
TRASH: Dispose in dumpsters. Seal seafood debris and trash before disposing of in dumpster. See map for location(s).
TREES: Do not cut and do not peel bark from live trees. Do not put nails in or tie ropes around trees.
VEHICLES: Two vehicles are allowed on each site (e.g. 1 Boat under 24 feet and one car/van/truck, 2 cars/trucks). Vehicle pass must be displayed at all times. All vehicles must be operated by people with a valid driver's license. MOTORIZED SCOOTERS AND ATVS ARE NOT PERMITTED. See GOLF CARTS for more information. Contact office for regulations for Special Needs Equipment. Extra vehicles including cars, boats and boat trailers may be parked in our storage area and/or overflow parking area. They must be registered with the office first.
WASHING DISHES OR CLOTHES: Not allowed in restrooms.
WASTE WATER: Maryland State Law prohibits the discharge of any waste water (septic or gray water) on to the ground. Violators will be subject to a fine and possible eviction. Formaldehyde products are not permitted.
WATER SAFETY: Children under the age of 14 are not allowed at any water exposure (river or stream, pond, dock, etcetera) without supervision of adult over the age of 18. No diving or jumping off of pier. Swimming is suggested off the beach (past the pier) about half way down the beach. Swimming shoes are also suggested. Emergency Life Ring is located at the end of the pier. We do not recommend tying boats to pier overnight.
NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN BATHHOUSES OR CAMP STORE. NO UNDERAGED DRINKING. AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR, PUBLIC INTOXICATION, PROFANE, DISRESPECTFUL OR VULGAR LANGUAGE IS NOT WELCOME. ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.

We reserve the right to select our clientele and guests. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) for detrimental conduct or failure to abide by our rules.
